D.I.Y. Manual for a Potential Future

A performance with dance, installation, music, primal scream, poetry and fermentation. Five self absorbed performance artists are excavating themselves from dystopia. Todays society suffers a crisis of future. We are trapped in the realities of the now. More than ever we need utopian visions. More than ever we need to raise questions. The result is a subjective and beautiful research of our potential collective futures.

The performance involves:
An active audience partly in mobile situation
An installation that is made during the show
A dog that travels with us.
Duration 1 hour

By and with dancer / performer Liv Hanne Haugen, playwright Tale Næss, installation artist Lawrence Malstaf, musician / performer Amund Sjølie Sveen and director / performer Jon Tombre and Hera, simply herself.

With support of Norsk Kulturråd, in coproduction with Festspillene i Nord Norge and Hålogaland Teater.

A motorised version of the installation called 'UTOPIA' is under construction and will be available for exhibition in museum and festival spaces soon.
